Making Waves

This post will be short and sweet, but I just wanted to get a simple message out there.

I won a thing! This past week, I had the honor of receiving the Team Women WaveMaker Award for leadership, support of the community, and helping women achieve their goals.

Like I said in the acceptance speech, trying to make other people's lives better shouldn't be a wave-making concept. We should all be striving to make the world a place where every person can live a happy, healthy, fulfilling life. Go out there and do the most good - not for awards or recognition, but because it's the right thing to do.
